I've been helping people change the quality of their lives for over twenty years. It is my honor to help you change the quality of your life too... starting today.
Individuals, Couples, Families
From internal struggles to relationship challenges, to symptoms related to anxiety or depression, I use client-centered, strength-based interventions. Interventions depend upon the needs of the client and include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and/or psychodynamic psychotherapy to help people achieve their goals.
My areas of specialty include:
Anxiety and Stress Management
Grief and Loss
Couple and Family Therapy
Developmental Disabilities, Prader-Willi syndrome, and other disorders with autism-like symptoms
Families of Children or Adults with Special Needs
Raising a child with special needs can be extraordinarily challenging and stressful. I know, because I have a child with a rare medical disorder.
I've worked with parents of children and adults with special needs for over 20 years to help improve the whole family's quality of life.
I provide behavior management education and skills training to parents, extended family, and professionals including teachers, aides, and residential care providers. I have extensive experience providing training in both the school and residential settings, as well as facilitating support groups.
An Intake Consultation allows me to assess whether I can be helpful to you while you assess, at a reduced rate, how comfortable you feel working with me.
Taking action will help you feel better.
